Discuss your coverage

Behind every fund recommendation, there should be research worth relying on.

Areca Research works for financial advisory firms. It follows the funds on your list week by week, measures them against benchmark and peer group, and tells you clearly where attention is needed.

Why Areca Research

  1. 01

    Independence

Areca does not sell, broker or manage financial products. Research is not shaped by product distribution.

  2. 02

    Consistency

The same methods every month: figures in euros, for your chosen share class, against the benchmark in each fund’s factsheet.

  3. 03

    Transparency

Every figure carries its source and data date. Gaps in the data are disclosed, never filled.

  4. 04

    Close to your advisors

Questions about any report are answered by email or phone, usually within two business days.

A clear status for every fund

Each monthly report gives every fund on your list one of three statuses, with the reasoning behind it.

Unchanged

The fund continues to perform in line with its mandate, benchmark and peer group.

Monitor

A development worth watching, such as a manager change, a cost increase or weaker relative performance.

Review

Reasons to re-examine the fund’s place on your list, set out with the evidence.

Working together

From the first conversation, the first monthly report can follow within about four weeks.

  1. Scope

You share the funds your advisors use and the questions that matter to your firm.

  2. Watchlist

Up to 50 funds by ISIN, your focus topics and the report layouts are agreed.

  3. Delivery

Weekly briefs every Monday, the monthly report by the 10th, analyses on request.

  4. Review

Each quarter the watchlist is reviewed and alternatives are proposed where useful.
